ArtWorks Interns Accepted to Top Colleges

We are thrilled to announce that many of Arts for Learning’s ArtWorks interns have been accepted to some of the top colleges and universities across the country!

In addition to getting paid to create works of visual and performing art with their peers under the guidance of a professional teaching artist, ArtWorks interns attend a series of workshops to prepare them for college. All junior and senior interns attend four college workshops: College 101, Financing College, Post-Secondary Mapping and Scholarships, in addition to a two-hour Workshop hosted by Wells Fargo

on financing college and scholarships. Intern also meet with a college advisor for over two hours per school year, focused on higher education and career planning and goal-setting.
