Dear Friends,

As we continue a very virtual summer, creativity and learning should not fall by the wayside. Getting creative and making art of all types has been proven to elevate academic performance and engaging in creative outlets has been proven to help develop and maintain critical thinking and problem solving skills – which become more important elements of school and workplace readiness every day.

At Arts for Learning/Miami (A4L), we believe that creativity can engage the minds, hearts, and bodies of young people.

For this reason, and in appreciation of your continued support, we’ve created #A4LatHome, a suite of recorded videos made by A4L’s trained Teaching Artists with you in mind! In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Teaching Artists rallied to create 100+ videos, making their high-quality arts instruction accessible beyond the classroom.

A new set of A4L at Home videos will be released every Monday, giving you access to visual and performing arts activities for children and youth from PreK through High School. Please share these links with family and friends and Subscribe to our YouTube channel for weekly updates.

Here’s to a great summer full of curiosity, learning and healing through art. It is our honor to help your students discover the power of the arts – and the empowerment they can find by staying creative.

Artfully yours,
Team A4L
